Which printer should I choose ? The Canon IX6850 printer offers print options for both A3 and A4 and has a rear feed - which makes the feeding of icing sheets and wafer paper, quick and easy. This high performance printer is popular with commercial printers and bakeries. If you're thinking of using pre-cut icing sheets in your printer this is our printer of choice. It is much more accurate when feeding in icing sheets and therefore gives better end results when you're looking to print within a predefined circle eg, our 2 inch pre-cut icing sheets.
The TS5050 range are favoured by experienced cake printers due to Canon's re-introduction of the rear feed paper tray. With this feature, the sheet does not need to turn from beneath, but simply passes straight through printer, remaining flat. This printer also has the added benefit of a scanner/copier facility so an edible image can be scanned / printed direct to an icing sheet without the need for a computer.
All Canon printers can print wirelessly / bluetooth with the Air print / Cloud print facilities.
