If you’re looking to improve the colour balance on your print outs, please follow the instructions below.
This function adjusts the colour balance by changing the ink ratios of each colour.
Use the application software when you want to change the colour balance significantly. Use the printer driver only when you want to adjust the colour balance slightly.
The following sample shows the case when colour balance is used to intensify cyan and to diminish yellow so that the overall colours are more uniform.
No adjustment | Adjust colour balance |
You can set colour balance on the Quick Setup tab by choosing Photo Printing under Commonly Used Settings, and then choosing Colour/ Intensity Manual Adjustment under Additional Features.
Adjusting the colour balance on your Canon TS6350 printer:
- Open the printer driver setup window
- Select the manual colour adjustment
On the Main tab, select Manual for Colour/Intensity, and click Set….
The Manual Colour Adjustment dialog box opens.
- Adjust colour balance
There are individual sliders for Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. Each colour becomes stronger when the corresponding slider is moved to the right, and becomes weaker when the corresponding slider is moved to the left. For example, when cyan becomes weaker, the colour red becomes stronger.
You can also directly enter a value linked to the slider. Enter a value in the range from -50 to 50. The current settings are displayed in the settings preview on the left side of the printer driver.
After adjusting each colour, click OK.
- Complete the setup
Click OK on the Main tab.
When you execute print, the document is printed with the adjusted colour balance.
Important
- When the Grayscale Printing check box on the Main tab is checked, the colour balance (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow) appear greyed out and are unavailable.
